Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) are welcome on board Capitan Morgan vessels. A Passenger with Reduced Mobility means any person who is not able to move easily or freely, or who requires specific assistance.
Bookings and tickets are offered to PRMs under the same conditions as all other passengers. If boarding is denied due to verified safety reasons or physical structural limitations of the ship or the dock infrastructure, a full ticket refund is always guaranteed.
- It is the passenger's responsibility to report in writing, at the time of booking or advance ticket purchase, their specific needs regarding accommodation, seating, required services, or the need to carry medical equipment.
- For any other type of assistance, passengers must notify the carrier or terminal operator at least 48 hours in advance and present themselves at the designated location at the agreed time, ahead of the published boarding time.
Onboard assistance is fully provided by our designated staff. If the vessel has been notified in advance of a PRM's arrival, the crew will arrange the necessary assistance to ensure a smooth journey, from embarkation to disembarkation. In the event of an emergency, the assigned personnel will promptly assist the passenger in reaching assembly stations and lifeboat embarkation points.
If a carrier or terminal operator causes, through its own fault or negligence, the loss of or damage to mobility equipment (e.g., wheelchairs) or other specific equipment used by persons with disabilities or PRMs, it must offer compensation corresponding to the replacement value of the equipment or, where applicable, the repair costs.
For visually impaired passengers and/or passengers with wheelchairs, provided they are accompanied by an adult passenger paying the ordinary fare (or the lowest fare to which they are entitled), dedicated special rates are available. These discounts are subject to presenting the proper official documentation at the ticket offices and during boarding.
Important notice regarding architectural barriers on board
Access to the vessels includes assistance when crossing the gangway by our crew members. However, please note that on board our motor vessels there are no dedicated wheelchair-accessible restrooms (PRM), nor lifts or elevators to access different decks. For comfort and safety reasons, we strongly recommend remaining inside the main salon during navigation.
In case of purchasing the "Capri Complete" excursion:
This tour includes the Capitan Morgan maritime transit combined with a tour guide service and inland transfers on Capri. By reporting the presence of a PRM passenger at our ticket offices prior to departure, we can promptly alert the bus operator at the destination. The operator will make every effort to provide a vehicle equipped with a wheelchair lift (please note, however, that certain historic areas or visited sites during the excursion may not always have the proper infrastructure to accommodate PRMs).
